The technician gains the eligibility to take certification exams in order to show their competency in HVAC field with having 2 years of maintenance experience and 1 year of installation experience. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average wage was around $43000 per year of HVAC technician. The average career growth is expected to grow up by 34% through 2020.
